If you’re on the East Coast, you probably spent your gaming budget this week on canned food and bottled water, so you couldn’t afford to pick up Deus Ex Human Revolution at its fifty dollar launch price. Well, lucky for you, the PC Downloadable version of the game is already on sale at Amazon.
Kotaku reports GameStop was instructing employees to open Deus Ex: Human Revolution boxes, remove OnLive codes and sell the games as new. GameStop responded by removing the Deus Ex: Human Revolution copies off of store shelves.

But what is Borderlands?
I was a big fan of Ron Gilbert’s Deathspank and it’s sequel Deathspank: Thongs of Virtue. The game had a funny sense of humor, an imaginative world and fun RPG/Adventure gameplay. However I was quite surprised at the announcement that Hothead Games would be developing a third Deathspank game that follows on from the ‘evil’ ending of the last game. I was even more surprised when I learned that they would be putting this game together without any input from the franchise creator Ron Gilbert. With The Baconing less than a week from release, it will be interesting to see if it can match the funny humor and fun ARPG gameplay of the last two games as well as continue the story in a meaningful way.
Activision will have no one to blame but themselves for whatever Kanye West does on September 3rd at the Call of Duty XP convention. He’s scheduled to “Perform” at this first official Call of Duty con which will occur on September 2nd and 3rd in LA.
Us PC gamers will have to be a little less smug from now on, because one of our best publishers is going to start releasing games for one of the consoles. Telltale Games, the lovely people behind PC exclusive adventure franchises like Sam & Max, Monkey Island and Puzzle Agent announced that they’ll be bringing their products to Nintendo’s Wii.
The Broadway musical Spider-Man Turn off The Dark isn’t as bad as it was made out to be, but that’s only because the producers fired the show’s original Director and book writer, Julie Taymor. Taymor was once famous for adapting Disney’s The Lion King into a hit Broadway musical, but now she’s only famous for helming one of the worst disasters in Broadway history, Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark. The story of Taymor’s work on Spidey is lampooned in a musical comedy that is currently running in the New York City Fringe Festival, The Legend of Julie Taymor or The Musical That Killed Everybody.
