Magicka continues its over-the-top humor and homages to other developers and popular gaming by announcing its first expansion, Magicka: Vietnam. Vietnam seems like an unlikely setting for a swords-and-mostly-sorcery game such as Magicka, and frankly, it is. Paradox, however, has announced that their first foray in to expansion territory for their hit title is taking place there regardless. The expansion promises new gameplay areas, new spells, some new weapons and at least one new outfit for your wizard-on-the-go. The trailer launched complete with a Magicka-themed parody of the popular ’60s hit “Bird is the Word”.
