Mass Effect 3 Officially Dated

Bioware has released the embargo on the release date for their highly anticipated title, Mass Effect 3, now slated to appear on March 16, 2012 for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC platforms. Additionally, the Xbox 360 version is slated to ship with Kinect support. No, you won’t be controlling your Shepard with motion controls (not yet, anyway), but you will be able to control your squadmates using unforseen voice recognition brought on board by the Kinect’s unique hardware and software.

Origin Will Be the Only Online Retailer for Star Wars: The Old Republic


Electronic Arts, in a move to centralize their PC products, has announced and released a new digital download service called Origin, effectively replacing the EA Store. Predominantly a digital service, Origin will also allow users to place orders for boxed copies across platforms.

StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm Details Revealed


The first details of the second game in the StarCraft II trilogy have finally been released. StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm will continue the story that started in Wings of Liberty
and unlike the first game, you will take control of Sarah Kerrigan, The
Queen of Blades. While the first game’s single-player centered on the
Terran race, Heart of the Swarm will switch the focus to the Zerg and this will lead to a huge change in the style of gameplay for the game’s single-player.

New Developer Diary For The Secret World

Shhh… Don’t tell anyone but the developers of The Secret World have released a new Secret Developer Diary.  It’s five minutes of in-game footage, FMV cutscenes and interviews with Ragnar Tornquist the Sr. Producer & Creative Director along with Joel Bylos the Lead Content Designer, and Dag Scheve the Lead Writer discussing the clever premise of the game, and how that story will be told.
