Isaac From Dead Space Will Be In Dragon Age II

I am so not making this up!  Electronic Arts has announced that players who buy Dead Space 2 will unlock a set of Dead Space armor in Dragon Age II.  This is much like the Blood Dragon armor which players could use in the original Dragon age and Mass Effect 2, but this time it is being used in games created by two different developers.

We’re heading into a good weekend for buying games online.  Several digital distributors are holding worthwhile sales, and it isn’t even Friday yet!  For starters, Steampowered.com is selling Dead Space for 66% off, or 75% if you pre-order Dead Space 2.  That’s $6.80, or $4.99 depending on whether or not you’re pre-ordering the sequel.  We highly recommend this deal, and we have some high hopes for the sequel as well, so give that pre-order some consideration too.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Preview

After the majesty that was Fallout: New Vegas, Bethesda is returning to its roots with the fifth title in the Elder Scrolls series, this time focusing on Tamriel’s mountainous province of Skyrim two hundred years after the events of Oblivion. In The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, the land is in chaos after the death of the regional king, and civil war rages unabated. As the last remaining of the Dragonborn dragonkillers, the player must traverse Skyrim, develop skills and abilities, and ultimately defeat the manifested dragongod, Alduin. There’s only been brief news on the game, but the details appear to improve on the failings of Oblivion as well as add a few new features that take the best of the lessons learned in Fallout 3 and New Vegas.
