Both Parasite Eve and its sequel are said to be headed for PSN. Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed, using Twitter, that both the PSOne classics by Square Enix should be arriving at some point, although no date has yet been given.
For anyone who never played either of them, Parasite Eve is essentially a hybrid of an RPG with survival horror. It looks similar in appearance to the first Resident Evil’s, but there are RPG style random battles in certain hotspots. When you encounter enemies they appear suddenly, but not on a separate battle screen. The first game takes place over six days and is set in New York.
