Marvel’s Iron Fist premiered at New York City Comic Con on Saturday. The cast and crew unveiled the first teaser trailer for the latest Marvel’s Netflix series, which will hit the streaming service March 17.
Finn Jones (Game of Thrones) stars as Daniel Rand, aka Iron Fist, who first appeared in Marvel’s Premiere #15, in May 1974. He is known for his skill in martial arts and has the power of a mystical force known as the Iron Fist, which gives him the ability to summon and focus his chi. He exists in the same universe as Luke Cage, Daredevil, and Jessica Jones and is set to also appear in The Defenders in 2017.
Other cast members of the new Netflix series include Jessica Henwick, David Wenham, Jessica Stroup, Tom Pelphrey, and Rosario Dawson (once again reprising her role as Claire Temple), with Scott Buck serving as the showrunner.
The hour-long panel at NYCC also gave audiences a sneak peek at five scenes from the upcoming series. Check out the first trailer for Marvel’s Iron Fist below.
