“Mission: Impossible 4” won’t be a “Mission: Impossible”?

The fourth film in the Mission: Impossible franchise will not be titled Mission: Impossible 4, and it may not even have the words “Mission: Impossible” in the title. This news comes shortly after the announcement of Academy Award-nominee Jeremy Renner starring in the film alongside Tom Cruise, who has led the franchise since the first film.

Centurion Review

Neil Marshall’s bloody medieval chase flick could very easily be dubbed “King Arthur: the prequel.” The 2004 Clive Owen-feautring King Arthur origin tale essentially picks up where this film ends with the building of Hadrian’s Wall, the ancient Roman fortification that stretched across what is now Northern England. Both films follow a small band of Roman centurion soldiers battling against the native warriors. Though similar in setting and tone, Centurion carves out its own gory slice of guilty pleasure.

First Images: Paul W.S. Anderson’s “Three Musketeers”

ComingSoon.net, has the first photos from the set of Paul W.S. Anderson’s upcoming 3-D take on The Three Musketeers. They include shots of Percy Jackson star Logan Lerman as D’Artagnan, Prague actor Mads Mikkelsen as Rochefort, and Anderson. It’s not likely that this film will be a masterpiece or even as good as the Disney-produced adaptation from 1993, but we can hope for a fun time at the movies.

Rich Wilkes to pen “Iron Fist” for Marvel

Screenwriter Rich Wilkes has been hired to pen a script for Marvel Studios’ based on the character Iron Fist. Originating in the ’70s during the heigh of kung fu culture, the story follows a martial artist whose fists become impenetrable weapons after battling a dragon. The comic was created by Gil Kane and Roy Thomas.
