Jackass 3D is another quality entry into the series of the same name. Those who enjoy the antics and hilarity of the previous two films will enjoy it. If you didn’t like the last two, then there’s nothing here that will change your mind.
After suffering setbacks due to legal issues, economic hardships and even part of a New Zealand workshop burning down, fans of Middle Earth have something to get excited about. TheWrap has it that MGM, New Line and Warner Bros. are all confirming “The Hobbit” has been greenlit to start production in early 2011 and that Peter Jackson will be directing both films (the book being split into two parts).
Recently, news came down that director David O. Russell (I Heart Huckabees, The Fighter) had returned to the game adaptation after departing and now Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-a-Long Blog) has taken to his Twitter account to campaign for the starring role of treasure hunter Nathan Drake.
You’re wrinkly, have health issues and your age is higher than the calibre of your gun. So what’s a senior to do? Why get a bigger gun of course. The cast truly is great in RED, and I don’t simply mean the actors in general; they simply all give full-on great, funny performances. The subtle (but hilarious) underlying lament of these characters is they all reminisce over their past lives as hardened assassins and pine just to kill one more little ol’ person.
Jackass 3D hits theaters Friday to much anticipation, at least on my part. Seems only logical to make a list of my favorite stunts from the first two films in honor of this memorable event, wouldn’t you agree? Please feel free to comment with your own favorites.
