After seemingly searching for a juicy role since his duel Oscar winning performances in the mid to late ’90s with The Usual Suspects and American Beauty, Kevin Spacey is back in fine form and dominates the screen in this frequently enjoyable, though heavily flawed, rise and fall fable.
It’s our final weekend of the year and we’ll be crowning the 2010 Box Office Wizard in just a few days. Come practice up for next year when we’re all even again! All you have to do is predict which five movies will place in the top five of this weekend’s U.S. domestic box office.

Another year has ended and I am sure many of you have added more DVDs and Blu-rays to your collection. Seeing that DVD sales remain one of the big sectors within the film industry, we decided to take a look back at the year in discs.
As the production date nears for Joss Whedon’s The Avengers film, more and more news (and rumors) are coming to light, true or not. Although it’s known that Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Nick Fury will all be front and center, no confirmation has come to light on who the Marvel dream team will face off against. This is likely why the fanboy circles are quick to grab onto anything, notably a line from the Albuquerque Journal (quoted by Ain’t it Cool News) in reference to the potential storyline and villains for Whedon’s superhero epic.
