“Snow White” Rivalry Continues: Relativity Moves Its Version to March 2012


The press release also reveals that Relativity has changed the release date of the feature to March 16, 2012, with principal photography set to begin next month. This isn’t all too surprising; Universal’s rivaling Snow White and the Huntsman bumped its release forward to June 1 of next year – six months earlier than its original date for theatrical release – to beat out Singh’s adaptation, then scheduled to hit theaters on June 29.

Bill Nighy Joins Biel and Beckinsale in “Total Recall” Remake



Casting for Len Wiseman’s upcoming remake of Total Recall keeps picking up steam. First Colin Farrell takes the role originated by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Then Bryan Cranston gets tapped to play the lead villain while Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel will play the female leads. Now, the Heat Vision blog of The Hollywood Reporter says that Bill Nighy–who has worked with Wiseman on two “Underworld” films — has been cast as Quatto.
