Harry Potter Countdown: No. 7. ‘Sorcerer’s Stone’

The finale of one of cinema’s best-executed franchises in “Harry Potter,” comes out next Friday, so we at PAM wanted to start a countdown of the “Harry Potter” films from least enjoyable to best as we see them. I should emphasize least enjoyable because quite honestly, the “Potter” series has delivered a definite quality standard that no franchise based on a book before (and most likely after) will ever attain again.

‘Dark Knight Rises’ Teaser to Play Before Final ‘Potter’

SuperHeroHype has an inside source saying that a “Rises” teaser of about a minute and a half in length will play before showings of this year’s big Warner Bros. summer tentpole: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Actors Affinity: The Cast of Horrible Bosses

Dancing the admiration dance for, say, Kevin Spacey, would a pleasurable and honest undertaking, as would speaking to a great comedic thespian like Jason Bateman, or heaping praise on Jason Sudeikis, or Charlie Day, or Jennifer Aniston, or Colin Farrell *gasp*. But hell, when all those actors are in one flick, picking and choosing is like Sophie’s Choice but more gruelling.
