R.I.P.D. has been building steam over the past sixth months, ever since director Robert Schwentke (RED) was tapped to helm with Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges leading up the cast. Now, Kevin Bacon is in final talks to join the project as the film’s main antagonist.

currency. People stop aging at 25 and then have only a year left to
live. Unless, of course, they buy more time. Will works a blue-collar
job just to ensure he has enough minutes to live to the next day, but
when he saves a “wealthy” man from some crooks, he inherits over a
century of time, time that comes with consequences.
