Sean Hood, who wrote the script for this weekend’s Conan the Barbarian, has given Millennium his screenplay for a fifth “Rambo” film, titled Rambo: Last Blood. According to an interview, Hood got together with Stallone twice and provided materials to help the writing process, including an unnamed book.
For the first time since January, a release jumped from a lower rung to number one. The Help, runner up last week, ascended to the top spot dropping just a shade more than 20 percent for a $20.4 million weekend haul.
It’s been quite some time since we’ve heard anything substantial about the 20th Century Fox remake of Fantastic Voyage. Director Shawn Levy has been attached to the director’s chair for the better part of 2011, but sources indicate that the project’s lack of movement might see Levy leaving the helm.

them, and Robert Rodriguez is one of the greatest offenders.

all know Robert Rodriguez is a talented director of very violent adult
fare. Like many directors Rodriguez wanted to work with bigger budgets
and got the chance when he made the family friendly Spy Kids series, earning critical and commercial success. But Rodriguez made a very stupid move after the success of Sin City by making The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl.
Rodriguez got his ideas from his children Racer and Rebecca and gave
Racer a writing credit, believing children would know how to make a
story for a children’s movie. There is nothing wrong with a parent
trying to encourage their children’s artistic side, but multi-million
dollar feature films is not the best medium for them to do that. Added
to that was his children’s influence on his family movie Shorts, particularly the jarring method of storytelling.

It is the fourth movie in a franchise suffering from diminishing
returns, plus it was using the stupid idea of smell-o-vision. And this
family movie does not disappoint.

Wilson (Jessica Alba) is a top OSS spy who retires after capturing a
super villain, Tik Tok, and starts a family with her husband Wilbur
(Joel McHale) and stepchildren Rebecca (Rowan Blanchard) and Cecil
(Mason Cook). A year later a new villain has emerged, the Time Keeper,
who speeds up time using the Armageddon Device to punish humanity for
wasting time. Marissa is called back by the OSS director, Danger D’Amo
(Jeremy Piven), to recapture Tik Tok which should lead them to The
Timekeeper. But the Timekeeper sets out to kidnap Rebecca and Cecil
because Rebecca has the only thing that could stop the Armageddon
Device.
