The ‘80s sci-fi flick Tron didn’t catch on with audiences immediately, but over the years it proved to be a cult classic and formidable presence with home video. It was over 20 years until the sequel, Tron: Legacy, arrived, but it won’t be that long before we get another installment.
We’ve known since February that a sequel to Captain America: The First Avenger was in the works, but apparently the script is still open to ideas. One of the film’s co-writers, Christopher Markus, told the L.A. Times what his ideal sequel would include: MODOK, and he wants Peter Dinklage to play him.

William Monahan, the scribe who took home a Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar for The Departed a few years ago, has been recruited to work on the screenplay for Sin City 2. Comic creator Frank Miller recently finished the initial draft.
It was the second slowest weekend of 2011 thanks to tepid releases and a storm wreaking havoc across the East Coast. The Help managed to stay on top staving off an anticipated horror movie, a traditional comedy, and a brainless action flick.
Colombiana is as inept a movie as I’ve seen in a long time. The film does virtually nothing right. The acting is wooden, the writing is atrocious and there’s little action to be found, actually. We’re supposed to care about this heroine, but everything about her story is clunky and unoriginal.
