Comic-Con Movies 2011: Total Recall



Len Wiseman’s Total Recall has been drawing a mixed reaction leading up to this weekend’s Comic-Con proceedings. Regardless, the remake 1990 sci-fi classic is happening and Wiseman, along with stars Colin Farrell, Jessica Biel, Bryan Cranston, John Cho and Kate Beckinsale all took the stage in Hall H to promote the upcoming film.

Comic-Con Movies 2011: Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance


The Sony/Columbia Pictures panel in Hall H was one of the most highly anticipated at Comic-Con this year, opening with Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. Stars Nicolas Cage, Idris Elba and Johnny Whitworth took the stage alongside directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor. Behind the scenes footage was shown, and fans (assuming they exist) were assured that real bones, not CGI, will be broken on film.

Comic-Con Movies 2011: Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Pacific Rim’


One of the unexpected panels announced for Comic-Con 2011 was Legendary Pictures, the film company partnered with Warner Bros. that has delivered Zack Snyder’s films and Christopher Nolan’s “Batman” features. One of their long-term projects is Pacific Rim, a all-stops-pulled monster movie being directed by Guillermo del Toro.
