With a new Pirates Of The Caribbean film out in multiple theaters doing gang-busters at the box office (honestly, who didn’t see that coming), I thought it suitable to discuss terrors that lurk in the ocean blue. Here are five horror movies set out in the ocean. One of which is not worth the effort to check it out, but the other four I cannot praise enough.
Kung Fu Panda, one of the many animated sequels due this year in multiplex’s, packs
its cast with a plethora of notable stars and proven talents. In honour of that
sequel’s embracement of this changing trend, Player Affinity will take a peek,

Here’s a trivia question for you: name one first sequel to a pure comedy (the second film in a comedy franchise) that was better than the original. I will give you a few hard returns to think about it. … … … Yup, it’s a trick question. There are none. And that’s a matter of fact, not opinion, at least according to two of the most reputable film rating sites (we’ll get to that later). Not to kill your (or my own) buzz for The Hangover Part II this weekend, but history literally says it will not compare favorably with the original.

Some
people complain about European actors portraying American heroes. Yet
no one seems the least bit perturbed that Ian McShane is set to embody
the classic character Blackbeard in this summer’s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
Good for those naysayers too, as such a misgiving would be silly.
McShane, a veteran actor from the United Kingdom, is skilled in stage,
voiceover, and television acting. Although his career spans nearly fifty
years, he is one of those performers who is known more by his face or
his characters than as a big name star in his own right.
In 2003, few film critics or fans were bullish about the prospects of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Hard to blame them—it was based on a theme park ride after all. But the film surprised just about everyone. It was a blast, Johnny Depp was hilarious, the action scenes were inspired, and man, was it funny. Right? Wrong. For me, the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise is overrated, unfunny, uninspired, and totally past its sell-by date.

the ambitious motion capture adaptation of “Tintin” from director Steven Spielberg.
