Kano Officially Confirmed for Mortal Kombat X
Another returning fighter gets a trailer for Netherrealm Studios'
Mortal Kombat X. After being rumored for the past few days, Kano is officially confirmed for the sequel and you can see the trailer below that showcases his three fighting variations, the new system they have been implementing for all the characters revealed so far.
Kano is older and now with more cybernetic upgrades. His three styles are Cutthroat, Cybernetic, and Commando. Cutthroat is focused on his signature knife, Cybernetic prioritizes his eye laser and grenade moves (which reminds me of Zod from
Injustice and Fulgore from
Killer Instinct), and Commando makes Kano more of a grappler with a greater emphasis on close range combat. As expected with these
Mortal Kombat X trailers, Kano's X-Ray move and fatality gets teased at the end in this new jungle stage.
Mortal Kombat X is still slated to be released sometime in 2015 for Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. Impressed by the new Kano in the sequel? Chime in with your thoughts on the comments below.
