Namco Bandai's Tekken Tag Tournament 2 comes out tomorrow, but more downloadable characters are found on the disc by data miners. Besides the pre-order DLC characters that will be eventually available to everyone for free, Ancient Ogre, Angel, Kunimtsu, and Michelle Chang, more characters are coming sometime in the future after the game's release. Found on the Tekken Tag 2 disc recently are Doctor Bosconovitch, Violet, Miharu, Slim Bob, Unknown, and Sebastian.
Unknown is the boss character for both the first Tekken Tag Tournament and this sequel. Doctor B. first appeared in Tekken 3 as a secret character with an unorthodox fighting style. It is too early to tell if he retains that style in this new entry in the franchise. Miharu is best friends with Xiaoyu as she was seen in cutscenes of past games. Sebastian is Lili's butler and basically a clone character with her fighting style intact. Violet first appeared in Tekken 4, but has a big role in Tekken Tag 2's Fight Lab mode and plays similar to Lee. Slim Bob is a reference to Bob's Tekken 6 ending where he lost most of his weight to become a slimmer fighter. Namco Bandai has not responded to these leaks yet, but I'm sure they will officially announce them at a later date. A trailer showcasing the combo potential of the game is below. There is also a Wii U version slated to come out sometime during the console's launch window.
