Telltale Games and Mojang released the first trailer for Minecraft: Story Mode at Minecon 2015 in London. The trailer reveals some of the characters and places that will be a part of the episodic story-driven adventure game. These characters include a character voiced by Patton Oswalt, Paul Reubens and of course Dave Fennoy.
I mean, of course Dave Fennoy is in Minecraft: Story Mode, the man is in every Telltale game since Walking Dead and for good reason. He's really good at what he does.
Minecraft: Story Mode will NOT be a story about Steve, the default character of Minecraft. Telltale and Mojang have been very clear that this is not going to be some origin story for the hugely popular building and survival game. Instead this will be a original story set in the blocky world of Minecraft.
Minecraft: Story Mode will be a separate game from Minecraft and will be available later this year on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, iOS, Android, Mac and PC.
