‘The Mindy Project’ Renewed for Season Five
The Mindy Project is getting a fifth season from Hulu, according to
TVLine.
The series started out on FOX, but was picked up by Hulu when it was canceled after its third season. Now it is going strong for the streaming service as its fourth season is coming to an end.
Fans will be excited to learn that series regulars Mindy Kaling, Ed Weeks, Chris Messina, Ike Barinholtz, Beth Grant, Xosha Roquemore, and Fortune Feimster were all included in Hulu’s renewal release announcement and will be back with the show for its new season.
Hulu made a number of other exciting announcements last week, including announcing its plans to create both live and recorded programming. Hulu also announced it will be adding some new original shows including
Shut Eye starring Jeffrey Donovan,
The Handmaid’s Tale starring Elisabeth Moss, and
Chance starring Hugh Laurie.
