There are plenty of good sales going around the internet today, especially if you're a fan of the Hearts of Iron Series, or if you like indie games. Let's take a look at today's selection of online game sales. Direct2Drive.com is holding a month-long event called 30 Days of Deals. Each day there's a different game being sold a steep discount. Today (Tuesday the 5th) you can get Tropico 3 for three dollar and seventy five cents. If that isn't to your tastes, D2D is also doing their standard Two Dollar Tuesday sale; today you can get Gardenscapes, Astro Avenger 2, and Build-a-lot fot two dollars each if you're so inclined.
It has simmered down a little over at GamersGate.com. They just ended a month-long mega sale with hundreds of games on sale, and now they're down to a measly 72 deals. Notable among them is the 70% discount on anything in the Hearts of Iron franchise. That's a dozen products, prices vary, but you can get some of the add-on packs for a low as .60¢.
Here's something to look out for: ImpulseDriven.com is also getting into the act with Hearts of Iron. They have numerous games in that series on sale, just like Gamers Gate, but GamersGate has them beat in prices on some items, while Impulse has the edge on a few other projects. Interested gamers should look closely at both sales to make sure you're getting the best price. Impulse also has a Daily Deal on Mount & Blade, which can be yours for just $3.99, an 80% discount.
Steampowered.com has a Midweek Madness sale on Aliens Versus Predator for $4.499. However, at the time of this writing, they are still selling The Potato Sack which contains thirteen indie games for 75% off if you buy them all at once. You also have the option to buy any one of them for half off. The sack contains some very good products like Amnesia and Killing Floor, among many others. Together they all cost $38.65.
