Matthew McConaughey; Born to Run in a New Adaptation
Since winning the Academy Award for his role as Ron Woodroof in
The Dallas Buyer's Club last year, running has definitely been the name of the game for McConaughey. He went on from
Buyer's Club to win and be nominated for other awards for his role in the acclaimed HBO series
True Detective and then of course, journeyed through time and space in Christopher Nolan's
Interstellar. Indeed, McConaughey has been making moves.

According to
ComingSoon.net, McConaughey's next move has him much more grounded in the earthbound story,
Born to Run, based on the New York Times Bestseller of the same name written by Christopher McDougall. It is the tale of one man's quest to find a tribe of the world's greatest long distance runners and learn their secrets, but in the process he learns, and manages to teach others, that everything we thought we knew about the sport of running couldn't be further from the truth.
The movie is reported to have locked
World War Z writer Matthew Michael Carnahan and is currently still in development under the companies of Outlaw Productions, Di Bonavatura Pictures and LD Entertainment. No known directors are connected to the project as of yet, but Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Deb Newmyer and Mickey Liddell are on board as producers.
There is no release date for the film as of yet.
