The final DLC add-on for Mass Effect 2 is on its way. "Arrival" will be Mass Effect 2's last DLC until Mass Effect 3 later this year. Bioware has done right by supporting Mass Effect 2 with DLC which helps keep it relevant on everyone’s mind. "Arrival" will take Commander Shepard and the rest of the Normandy crew to the far reaches of the galaxy. It centers on an undercover agent who is missing in Batarian space after this agent has discovered an impending Reaper invasion. Shepard must rescue this secret agent and discover what the “Arrival” is. The DLC will also feature three new achievements.
Bioware has finally announced the DLC will be made available for Xbox, PC, and PS3 on March 29. "Arrival" will cost 800 Microsoft points. So if you are looking for another reason to go back to Mass Effect 2, Bioware has set you up with a pretty good reason.
I just got back into playing Mass Effect 2 after I bought all of the DLC. My first time through I didn’t get the good ending, so I am working on getting the best ending. I thought I was done buying Mass Effect 2 DLC, but I guess not.
In other Mass Effect 2 news, the game took home Best Video Game of the Year from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA). They join the ranks with previous winners like Batman: Arkham Asylum and Bioshock.
