Kevin Sorbo, Teri Hatcher to Appear on Supergirl

Hercules himself, Kevin Sorbo, will be joining The CW’s Supergirl, but he won’t be playing the hero this time. According to Variety, Sorbo has been cast in a recurring role as a mystery villain. Sorbo has a history of playing iconic roles, including his most famous role as Hercules on Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, which branched off into TV movies and an animated series. He also starred on Andromeda, a sci-fi series where he played High Guard Captain Dylan Hunt during the five season run of the show. Supergirl also recently added Teri Hatcher, who played Lois Lane in Lois & Clark in the 90s. No word yet on whether or not Hatcher will be reunited with her Lois & Clark co-star Dean Cain (Clark to her Lois), who is currently recurring on Supergirl as Kara's human step-father. Supergirl has had a wide range of villains this season and it will be interesting to see exactly who Hatcher and Sorbo will be playing.
