Kelly Sue DeConnick Leaves Captain Marvel
Kelly Sue DeConnick has written two
Captain Marvel volumes and has been writing the character since 2012. This series has become a fan favorite for many comic book readers. During HeroesCon in Charlotte, North Carolina DeConnick announced that she would be ending her run on Captain Marvel after Secret Wars. She is currently writing
Captain Marvel and the Carol Corp for Secret Wars.
Now the question is who will take over the series after DeConnick's departure? Will Captain Marvel once again reboot to issue 1? This would make it the third reboot for the series since 2012, not including the Secret Wars title. I am personally upset to see DeConnick leave this series. I think she had a great run on the character, but I am also looking forward to seeing what we will see next from her.
