The Kinect has a few things over the Wii and the Move. Besides it being a great way to pretend you live in the Minority Report universe, it is controller free. So there is no chance that you could lets say throw your motion sensing controller at your $400+ TV. Well, you'd be half right.
Apparently a blogger by the name of Phil Villarreal was using his Kinect, and spiked his ceiling fan's chain into his TV. As you can see above the chain caused a very nice looking rainbow effect to permanently be stuck on his TV. As sad as this is Mr. Villarreal gave some good effective advice when it comes to Kinect use saying, "do not under any circumstances play Kinect Sports Volleyball at 1:30 a.m. while standing under a ceiling fan with a dangling chain for a light switch." Hopefully no one else knows the sadness of losing his/her HDTV. However if you ever break you TV in a Kinect related incident please let us know, and we will try not to laugh too hard.
