Ike Returns to Super Smash Bros.

Despite E3 being right around the corner and airing a big Nintendo Direct last month, Masahiro Sakurai is continuing to keep Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS in our minds. Today he announced that Ike from the Fire Emblem series would be returning to the roster.

Ike is the hero in the 2005 GameCube RPG Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, in which his design from Brawl is derived from. However in this next-gen Smash Bros., Sakurai believed it would be better using his older self in the 2007 Wii sequel, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.
