After a nine-year-long conversation a dad has with his kids, it seems we will finally see the "Mother" that Ted manages to tie the knot with. And, more importantly, we'll also see the exact moment when he becomes Bob Saget.
IGN just recently got the confirmation from CBS saying, "All of the cast -- Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders, Neil Patrick Harris and Alyson Hannigan -- have signed on, along with creators Craig Thomas and Carter Bays."
As someone who has never really followed the show, I'd just like to say how 'effing crazy it is that there still hasn't been any sight nor sound of the mystical "Mother" that this show has been building up towards for--to repeat again--nine years. I imagine not even the show's creators imagined this show would be this monumental of a hit to last this long. So cheers to them for making one of the insanely rare sitcoms that lasted several seasons for fans to enjoy for all these years.
Still, those kids who Bob Saget has been telling this 9-year tale of love to have to be adults by now, right?
