The PC underground hit, Hotline Miami, is hitting PS3 and Vita this Spring. The 2D top down shooter garnered great commercial and critical success when it hit Steam on October 23, 2012 and apparently Sony has recognized this. Hotline Miami also is the next game down the line after Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time and Playstation All Stars: Battle Royale to utilize the cross buy feature, allowing a consumer to buy it once on either the PS3 or Vita and receive a copy on both.
This game's gameplay structure is perfectly tailored for handhelds. The adrenaline that each quick, rewarding chapter gives in quick succession, provides an experience perfect for handheld gamers. There weren't any announcements regarding extra content in the PS3 or Vita version as of right now. Maybe because they are focused on the announced sequel for the original game.
