Halo 2 Anniversary’s Next Remastered Map is Lockout
343 industries have announced the next classic Halo map they're updating for the upcoming
Halo 2 Anniversary and this time it is Lockout. Back in the original
Halo 2, Lockout was one of the most popular maps, so this news should be a great boon for any longtime fans of the series.
Lead designer on the original game Max Hoberman, who is also working together with 343 on the anniversary edition's multiplayer, had this to say about the map: "Lockout was hands-down the most popular small arena-style map in
Halo 2. We're thrilled to be bringing this fan-favorite back, and are paying close attention to the details and subtleties that made the original great while also making a couple of very careful, very calculated enhancements."
The anniversary edition will contain remastered versions of the all maps and modes that were in the original game with Lockout being the 5th one to be revealed so far. Do you have any nostalgic memories of playing Lockout in it's original form? If so, feel free to chop it up about it in the comments below.
