Those who are especially excited to get their hands on a PS Vita
are in for a rare treat.
Starting today, anyone is able to pre-order Sony’s next handheld, slated to be released
February 22 next year. Do
so, however, and you will get yours a full week sooner than everyone else (on the
15th) which is pretty awesome, I have to say. Of course, the craziest of Sony fans will probably just import a Japanese model Vita in
December.
The first bundle to be released in the U.S. will include the 3G
and Wi-Fi model of the Vita along with a Limited Edition case, a 4GB memory
stick and a copy of the game Little Deviants for $349.99 (MSRP). Canada will be getting the same, minus 3G, at
$299.99 (MSRP). Let us know in the comments below if you plan on getting a Vita at launch. I’m looking forward to seeing the general
public’s reaction to it and whether or not Sony can now possibly dominate the
dedicated gaming handheld market with Nintendo running into so much trouble
with the 3DS. It would be super weird
for the best-selling handheld to not be a Nintendo product for a change.
