Former The O.C. Star Melinda Clark Joins the Cast of Gotham

"California, here we come."
Season 2 of Gotham is subtitled “Rise of the Villains,” and this latest news will only further make good on that promise. E! Online reports that Melinda Clarke has joined Gotham in the recurring role of Grace Van Dahl, a character created for the series. She is described as “attractive and cultured,” but also “desperate for money and power,” with the site noting that she’s willing to kill to get what she wants. (Image via MeatGrinder.)[/caption] Though most will recognize Clarke for her role as Julie Cooper on The O.C. (where she co-starred with Gotham’s Jim Gordon, Ben McKenzie), she has made appearances on a number of other TV series, including Nikita, The Vampire Diaries, Chuck, and Entourage (to name a few). She also voiced haiku master Madame Macmu-Ling on Avatar: The Last Airbender, which I did not know about until I started writing up this article.   Clarke joins upcoming additions to the cast Paul Reubens as Penguin’s father, Michael Bowen as Patrick “Matches” Malone, and Lori Petty as Jeri, a club hostess with information on who killed Bruce Wayne's parents. Grace Van Dahl will first appear in the 15th episode of the season, which will air a few weeks after Gotham returns on Monday, February 29 at 8pm on FOX. And since I did it for Tom Welling last week, here's Phantom Planet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCfxAY1HFvc Featured image via The Wallpapers.
