Following in the steps of games like Assassin’s Creed: Revelations (on the PS3), it looks like those who
were looking to pick up the new Twisted Metal game that releases on February 14th,
2012 may be getting a little extra bang for their buck. To preface this though, the Twisted
Metal franchise creator, David Jaffe, released the cover art for the vehicular
combat game over the weekend, and I have to say that it does look like a pretty
good piece of cover art. If ever
there were a “mascot” for the franchise, it would have to be Sweet Tooth (the
clown that has fire coming out of his head), and he is looking particularly
demonic in this iteration of the game.

The real news comes with what is going to be included
in the “limited edition” (otherwise known as the first run) of the game. Those who purchase the limited edition
will get a voucher inside for a free copy of Twisted Metal: Black, what many
could consider to be the first game in the series to really set itself apart as
the Mecca of vehicular combat games.
The full details of trophy support have not been made available yet, but
everything that I have seen about Twisted Metal makes it look extremely good,
and to be able to get a free game (and a very good one at that)
is quite the Valentines Day present.
