First look at Lynda Carter on Supergirl

Earlier this year, it was announced that Lynda Carter will have a major role on the second season of Supergirl and now there’s proof. [caption id="attachment_86932" align="aligncenter" width="619"] Courtesy of Instagram/melissabenoist[/caption] Supergirl herself, Melissa Benoist, shared a behind-the-scenes photo of her with the legendary Lynda Carter, who is best known for her work as the original Wonder Woman. Carter will be playing the President of the United States on the latest season of Supergirl. Now that Supergirl has moved to The CW, many changes are on tap, including new characters. Additional new cast members include Tyler Hoechlin as Superman, Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor, and Ian Gomez as Kara’s new supervisor. It was also recently announced that Supergirl would be part a musical crossover episode this season with The Flash. Check out this new and exciting season of Supergirl when it premieres on The CW Monday, Oct. 10 at 8/7c.
