Final Fantasy Versus XIII: Good News and Bad News
Final Fantasy XIII is out, and most of us have beat it. In a month all the JRPG fans that were late to the party will be done. So, the question is now what? Well that answer is simple. Final Fantasy Versus XIII gush time! Yes, as some may have forgotten from the excitement of Final Fantasy XIII's release. For those who don't know about the game, Versus is an action RPG being made by the Kingdom Hearts team and it has some very nice visuals. However, we've only seen a few videos, which show nothing of the game (usual Square-Enix teasing). Well now it's back in the spotlight.. but there's some good news and some bad news. Starting with the bad news, those who thought we would finally be getting some news at E3 might be disappointed. Tetsuya Nomura himself has come out and said "we planned to show Versus to the public at E3, but it's become an uncertain situation." So it looks like we may have to wait till the Tokyo Game Show for more information, or hopefully a release date. The good news is that you may not need a PS3 to play Final Fantasy Versus XIII. While Square-Enix has not officially come out and announced the game as multi-platform they are considering the option of putting the game on the Xbox 360. This would not be too far fetched seeing that Final Fantasy XIII sold 1.32 million copies outside of Japan. To give more food for thought, Final Fantasy XIII has sold almost 2 million copies (with the PS3 being the only option).
