Capcom have announced solid release dates for their new summer HD remake, DuckTales Remastered.
As of August 13th, Playstation 3, Wii U, and PC owners will be able to download the game for $14.99, whilst Xbox users will have to wait until September 11th to get their hands on the title.
A special box edition of DuckTales Remastered is also being launched for the PS3 in the US and this will available to buy from August 20th for $19.99, which will “…include a download code and an exclusive DuckTales Disney collector’s pin.”
Additionally, Capcom have also unveiled the first part of their behind-the-scenes series called the ‘Duckumentary series,’ which features interviews with those involved with DuckTales Remastered.
With explanations and discussions surrounding the making of the game, this week’s video, “…focuses on the process behind taking the original backgrounds and level designs from the NES game, and enhancing through storytelling, voice acting, and hand-drawn art for an authentic Disney look and feel.”
The Resident Evil creators have also released an hour long video showing the gameplay of two levels: Amazon and Transylvania. Hosted by producer Rey Jimenez and the aforementioned Chris, the video was taken from the E3 show floor and sees the two men playing through and discussing the newly redesigned stages.
