Blizzard has released the first screenshots of the newly announced PlayStation 3 version of Diablo III.
After been revealed at the PlayStation Meeting two days ago, the company published the news on their site along with the screens.
It has yet to be confirmed which console the above shots (the game is coming to both the PS3 and PS4) have been taken from, but since the PlayStation 3 game is due to make a public appearance in March, it’s likely these are snaps from this version.
The aforementioned public appearance will take place at PAX East in the Boston Convention and Exhibition Centre from March 22-24, where according to Blizzard, “…attendees of the convention will be some of the first to defend the world of Sanctuary via handheld controllers.”
Regarding the PS3 title, CEO and Co-Founder of Blizzard Mike Morhalme, said in an official press release that the Diablo III creators “…can’t wait for players to try it out at PAX East.”
He also stated that, “Diablo III looks and plays great on the PlayStation. We put a lot of care and thought into the PlayStation version to make sure it would deliver an authentic Diablo gaming experience, and we’re really pleased with the results.”
