With filming on the much anticipated sixth season of Showtime’s Dexter set to get underway at the month’s end, the flow of information about what is going on has finally begun. The plot remains elusive, but tvline.com got their hands on casting call information for some of the new blood set to appear this year.
Those recurring roles set to be cast are:
Jamie: Described as an outgoing and fun Latina in her mid-20s, this Florida native relocates to Miami for grad school.
Chicago Mike: New thirty-something African-American homicide detective who possesses a finely tuned BS detector. The Windy City native does not play well with others.
Louis: A buddy of Masuka’s (C.S. Lee) who joins MMP as a new lab intern. Role calls for a Caucasian actor in his 30s who is “attractive in his own way”.
Each of these character’s involvement in the storyline is pure speculation at this point. However, given the history of the show, which is creating new characters each season that are the focal point for the overall arc, you can bet that at least one of them is going to play a big part in what’s to come.
