In a move that all gamers wish would happen more often but unfortunately doesn’t, THQ announced yesterday that all customers who pre-ordered a copy of their upcoming Darksiders II will receive a free upgrade to the limited edition version. Yes, you read that correctly, a FREE upgrade.
The limited edition comes with a free packaged copy of the game’s first DLC, entitled “Argul’s Tomb,” as well as a hardcover art book. There is also a collector’s edition available that will run you $100 and features a soundtrack, bonus in-game armor and weapon, a replica death mask display stand, and all that is included in the limited edition. Darksiders II will release for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC on June 26th.
