The CW Orders iZombie Pilot

There had been many rumors going around that The CW was thinking about making an iZombie television show. It was officially announced during the TCA’s that The CW picked up a pilot episode for the series. The showrunners will be Veronica Mars’ very own Rob Thomas and Diana Ruggiero. The CW has a lot of success with other DC Comics properties like Arrow and Smallville. iZombie is a Vertigo book, which is the edgier side of DC Comics. The premise of the iZombie comic book is a girl named Gwen, who is a zombie and works at a gravesite, must eat a brain every month to survive, but when she eats these brains she gets flashes from that person’s life.     The show will make some minor changes. It will be a medical/detective show. Gwen will be working in a coroner’s office instead of a grave site. She will solve these cases with the help of her boss and a police detective.
