Lovebunny & Mr. Hell Return

Before HACK/SLASH introduced the world to the slasher-fighting duo of Cassie Hack and her sidekick Vlad, TIM SEELEY introduced another critically acclaimed duo to the world in the form of dysfunctional superheroes, Lovebunny & Mr. Hell!

Originally published in black and white and out of print. The new edition of LOVEBUNNY & MR. HELL is painstakingly remastered to full color! Seeley shares, “With more and more ‘serious’ superhero comics clogging the shelves, I decided it was time to bring back my first professional creator owned comic. Irreverent, sexy, and funny, Lovebunny and Mr. Hell is to superheroes what Hack/Slash is to horror, and now it’s in full color for the first time!”

Stan Lee’s Starborn Covers Revealed

Here it is, the third and final release of Stan Lee’s new line of comics from Boom! Studios. Who knows, maybe this one will sell more than Soldier Zero did. I for one am very curious about that suit… it itches the area of my brain that’s familiar with 80’s cartoons.

BOOM! Studios and POW! Entertainment unveiled STAN LEE’S STARBORN at a press conference during Comic-Con International 2010. It was there that fans learned that New York Timesbestselling author Chris Roberson and SPIDER-MAN artist Khary Randolph would be joining Stan as writer and artist on the ongoing series, STAN LEE’S STARBORN!

Image Comics – Memoir

Personally I didn’t like Choker, Ben McCool’s Image series. It was predictable and never played to the strengths of Ben Templesmith’s art style. So Memoir doesn’t hold a high stock with me, but I love reading new stuff and will probably check this book out. Also any artist that worked on DMZ is worth checking out.

In January 2011, Ben McCool, the creative mastermind behind CHOKER, teams up with brilliant artist Nikki Cook (Girl Comics, DMZ) for a haunting tale of mystery and memory loss. McCool explains, “MEMOIR is a mysterious match up of Twin Peaks and the Twilight Zone, featuring a town devoid of memory, an eager journalist looking to exploit it, and a strange young girl watching over everything — a young girl who claims to be the daughter of God.”

Juggernaut One-Shot – Review

It’s a train! It’s a tank! No, it’s Juggernaut! One of Marvel’s best known villains demolishes his way through his own one-shot. Juggernaut being one of my favourite villains, upon discovering he had a one-shot, the opportunity was too much to pass up.

This issue begins in a bar in New Mexico. We are introduced to the owner talking with who appear to be regulars of his and they are talking about having to make a stand against a guy who comes in for fights. In bursts in the large man, with everyone terrified, except for a man in crimson armor. After Juggernaut knocks him out with one hit, he has sparked the interest of a woman whom wants his protection. This leads to him meeting up with Black Tom Cassidy, the woman being the succubus Spite and having to fight her brother D’Spayre.
