Super hot writing duo Abnett and Lanning will pick up and run with Cornell’s ongoing ideas and also inject plenty of their own.

For 40 years, Elric has thrilled comic book fandom beginning with Marvel Comics’ CONAN THE BARBARIAN #15 in 1972. Buy, Read, Pass – 12/8 Edition

Time for more quick verdicts on last week comics! I finally got my hands on a copy of 27 (actually two in case it blows up and becomes worth a ton of money!) And I think I may be sold on Nick Spencer finally… maybe. If I had to pick a book of the week I’d pick Thor The Might Avenger # 7. Such a fantastic title that hopefully Marvel will consider not cancelling.

27 # 1 – Buy – I was actually able to get a copy of this issue and at below cover price (screw you eBay). It’s worth picking up, but not worth paying $30 bucks for. If you can’t find it, pick up the second print.

Spawn 200 Breaks Records But Not Your Wallet

Upon reading this press release, I thought to myself, “When the hell did the last issue of Spawn come out?” To which I then looked up (because that’s what you do when you make a statement like that) the answer is September 9, 2010. That’s right the landmark issue of Spawn will have taken 4 months to produce. And thus they’re giving you a ton of pages for the same cover price… of $3.99. Which then made me ask myself, “When the hell did Spawn raise it’s cover price?” Which I then did not look up because seriously who has that much time on their hands?
