Preview Time – Image First’s Ultra #1

It’s not often we feature a preview for a re-release, mostly because they tend to be of popular books. But the Luna Bros. first comic work Ultra wasn’t a huge mega hit, it did alright but it didn’t take off the way Girls did. So enjoy a look a series that doesn’t try to be a typical capes book and covers some really adult themes. If you’re interested in the series then you can pick up the first issue for a buck.

Carbon Grey has been praised for it’s art style even from the first issue, but the story has been met with mixed reviews at best. With the third issue it should be interesting to see where this series finally falls; be it good or bad. Stan Lee and Elvira Invite You To Comikaze Expo

Comikaze Expo, the largest multimedia pop culture, comic book, horror and gaming convention in Los Angeles, has set its date and location: November 5-6 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Comikaze’s creators expect 60,000 attendees and more than 300 vendors. The show will kick off with appearances by the father of modern comics, Stan Lee, and Comikaze’s official “spooksperson,” horror icon Elvira, at the event’s ribbon-cutting ceremony.
