Well shit
just got real as DC just announced that not only are the rumors of them re-launching
every ongoing title with a brand new #1 attached to it, true, but that with the
launch of Geoff Johns and Jim Lee’s brand new Justice League #1 all of their
comics are going digital day and date. What’s that mean? You better grab a
tablet computer, because you’ll be able to get every DC comic book released in
comic stores on Wednesday on your tablet computer. I’m sure about half of the
industry is crapping its pants right now and retailers are will no doubt cut
their orders in half in anticipation of lost sales.

Flashpoint Friday – New Round Up – Geoff Johns Leaves The Flash

It’s Friday and that means it’s time for DC to dump a ton of Flashpoint news and previews upon the world, but the biggest news is that Geoff Johns will be leaving the Flash series after Flashpoint #5. Johns has had an extensive run on Flash in the past and has brought Barry Allen back to the DC forefront in a big way, but it’s still surprising to see him leave right after the event. Unless a big name creator comes on board you can expect a sales slump almost instantly as history shows us (See Flash and Wonder Woman’s relaunch after Final Crisis).
