Hi De Ho Comics is expanding. Since 1974, Hi De Ho Comics has had a presence in Santa Monica and August 22st, 2010 will see the opening of their second store in Laguna Beach, California.

One thing was clear at this years Comic Con… Stan Lee isn’t done yet! He’s teamed up with Boom! Studios to produce a new line of comics injunction with POW! Entertainment (Stan’s Company) Coming out first is Soldier Zero and we have a look at all seven covers! There’s so many covers the variant covers have variant covers.
BOOM! Studios and POW! Entertainment unveiled Stan Lee’s SOLDIER ZERO at a press conference during Comic-Con International 2010 last month. It was there that fans learned that ACTION COMICS writer Paul Cornell and SUPERMAN artist Javier Pina would be joining Stan as writer and artist on the ongoing SOLDIER ZERO series. The A and B covers toSOLDIER ZERO #1 by Trevor Hairsine and Dave Johnson respectively were also unveiled that day.
Oh yea, Voltron! We’re back with another bunch of Moonstone Books that are shipping in December. Moonstone is a smaller publisher and as such plans their release schedule far in advance. They’ve been kind enough to give us a sneak peak at what to expect for their December releases that will also appear in this weeks Previews Magazine. Remember with comics you’ll probably see these releases long before December so don’t sit and wait thinking you’ve got four months to pick up the releases. We’ll kick it off with some Voltron action!

The project has been snared in a web of production problems for years, it was originally slated to open last winter, and the title sounds like it was written by Todd McFarlane in the mid-nineties when “Dark ‘n’ Edgy” was all the rage. It stars no-one-you’ve-ever-heard-of, and the story will be yet another retelling of Spidey’s iconic origin.
