Turn off the Lights

Bulletstorm Demo Available on Jan. 25

Are you itching for your first skillshot in Bulletstorm, the brand new game from People Can Fly and Epic games?  You will not have to wait too much longer.  EA just released a press statement stating that a demo for Bulletstorm will be released on January 25 on Xbox LIVE and the Playstation Network.  Bulletstorm comes from the mind of Cliff Bleszinski, the same guy that has brought Gears of War to our hearts.

The demo features one mode from the game called Echo Mode.  Echo mode takes a section of the single player game and tallies up your score from each use of a skillshot.  Bulletstorm wants you to be creative and use their combo system to dispatch enemies.  Also from the press release we get a look into some of the weapons that will be released like: the Flail gun which shoots two grenades that are link together by a chain or the Screamer that turns your enemies into fireworks.

Bulletstorm empowers the player to as EA states it “Kill With Skill”. The demo also allows the player to unlock new platform specific weapons that will then carry over to “Anarchy” mode when you buy the full game.  Based on the trailers that have been released this game seems like a non-stop ride of blood and fun that will be released on Feb. 22, 2011 for North America and Feb. 25, 2011 for Europe.
