‘Blue is the Warmest Color’ Actress wanted for ‘Bond 24’
As "Bond 24" edges closer to filming the rumor mill involving casting is starting to appear. A major rumor has now dropped thanks to
Schmoes Knows who have reported that French actress Léa Seydoux is the top choice to star in Bond's next adventure.
Seydoux is best known for starring the Palme d'Or winning French movie
Blue Is the Warmest Color, a movie that won near universal praise. She has also starred in a French live-action version of
Beauty and the Beast with Vincent Cassel and she has appeared in
Inglorious Basterds and
Robin Hood (2010). Mainstream audiences will know Seydoux best for her supporting villainess role in
Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol where she had a big fight with Paula Patton.
Whenever a Bond movie enters production rumors go into overdrive and craziest stories sometimes emerge. "Bond 24" is no exception with stories ranging from Penelope Cruz to
Coronation Street actress/tabloid fodder Helen Flanagan being linked to the movie. Seydoux is however a good fit for the series, a talented young actress with a growing reputation and would be a strong addition to the high calibre cast the series has attracted.
"Bond 24" is set to be begin filming in October this year and scheduled for a October 23, 2015 in the UK and November 6 in the USA.
