Bloodline Renewed for Season Three
Netflix recently announced that
Bloodline will be getting a third season.
The second season of
Bloodline premiered May 27, and has already earned Emmy nominations including Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Kyle Chandler and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for Ben Mendelsohn.
Season three will continue to be led by executive producers Todd A. Kessler and Daniel Zelman and the main cast Kyle Chandler, Sissy Spacek, Linda Cardellini, Norbert Leo Butz, and Ben Mendelsohn will also be returning, according to a press release from Netflix.
While the show's first season was well received, season two garnered mixed reviews among viewers and critics. It is widely known that Netflix isn’t as concerned with viewer numbers as other networks. Their goal is simply to keep viewers subscribed, but the Emmy nominations certainly don’t hurt.
Those waiting to see what happens to the Rayburn family will be able to continue the journey when season three of
Bloodline arrives at Netflix in 2017.
