Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 Requires Internet Connection

Capcom's newest and somewhat-hyped PSN game Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 requires a constant connection to the internet to play. That's right, despite the game's lack of online co-op, you must be connected to PSN at all times while playing the game or it will stop working. This is an effort on Capcom's part to keep the game from being shared amongst PS3 owners, and it works a lot like the DRM on many PC games.

At least Capcom warns players in the description this time. The last time they tried something like this was with Final Fight: Double Impact, which similarly required an internet connection but did not forewarn players before they purchased it. At least that game actually featured, you know, real online play. So if you suffer from an inconsistent internet connection, or do not have access to the internet for whatever reason (how are you reading this?) consider yourself warned.
