The game will be released on the PlayStation Network at a price of $14.99. The first Bionic Commando Rearmed was a remake of the original 1988 NES title, and Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 is set to feature many of the elements from the first remake but will also contain some new gameplay mechanics, new weapons and a multiplayer mode.
The game is set a few years after Bionic Commando Rearmed, when a small team of bionics including the games hero, Nathan Spencer, are sent to an island to find a missing colonel and neutralize the enemy. There will now also be the option to jump, which Nathan has never before been able to do, but this feature can be disabled in the option menu for those who want to stay true to the games roots.
